A very interesting article today by AJ LaTrace of Real Estate News. The statistics show how over the last decade, 17 million households were formed but only 9.5 million homes were completed. The surge in apartment complexes during this same period filled some of the gap. But we still had a 2.5 million home gap of households formed and homes built.
So where did all those households choose to live? With other family members, RVs, or who knows?
